Drop Test Results

Smart Shipper has passed numerous internal drop tests, based on the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) test procedures.  We produce a custom designed corrugated container in which to place our Smart Shipper during shipment.  This protects the plastics from most of the everyday dings in shipment, as well as provides you with somewhere to label for shipping address, etc. as well as hazardous shipment labels.

In the following tests, the Smart Shipper container was dropped from a height of 30 inches.

Drop Test #1

·         Contents 10 pounds secured

·         The container was dropped randomly on each corner and each side for a total of 20 times

 

Drop Test #2

·         Contents 15 pounds

·         The container was dropped 2 times on each corner and 2 times on each side

 

Drop Test #3

·         Contents 25 pounds secured

·         The container was dropped randomly on each corner and each side for a total of 20 times

 

Drop Test #4

·         No content

·         The container was dropped randomly on each corner and each side continuously for a total of 40 times
